Why a Prison Ministry?
Ninety-seven percent of all prisoners incarcerated in the Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC)
will one day again be part of our society. These men are criminals, but
they are also fathers, husbands, sons, and human beings.
Pastor John Burkholder has found his calling among these men. His life
work is to befriend, love, serve, and aid in transforming them into
productive and spiritual mature members of society.
||What is Family Worship?
a month, Pastor John leads a church service at all four facilities in MCC.
The service includes worship, a life changing message and an
opportunity for the inmates to unite with their families.
|What is Transition House?
is a facility for inmates where upon their release, they have a safe,
clean, affordable and sober home while reentering society,
Why Should I Help?
Ministries is completely dependent on donations. Without you we cannot
provide counseling, supply simple necessities like soap and
toothbrushes, conduct family worship services once a month, and
continue our transition house.
